The founder of Body@Peace, Annette Lötter, became interested in alternative health modalities after poor health made her quit a 23 year career in Information Technology. She is a firm believer that Western medicine can be complimented by alternative therapies. This approach enabled her to cope and lead a normal life after being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and multiple allergies.

Body@Peace follows a holistic approach to help clients/patients to be in harmony with the environment they live in, but we do not diagnose, treat a specific disease or illness, interfere with medication or prescribe medication.

Several modalities are used to determine blockages in the energy channels (meridians) of the body and to promote free flow of the electro-magnetic energy (chi) throughout the body. These include, but are not limited to Reflexology, Swedish massage, Lymph drainage massage, Indian head massage, Aromatherapy and NAET®.

NAET® (Nambudripad ‘s Allergy Elimination Technique) is specifically used to re-program the brain not to launch the immune system against substances it perceives as being toxic, that is harmless or even beneficial to the majority of other individuals. An analogy would be a person that experience an allergic reaction when pesticides is sprayed onto the vineyards, but after NAET® treatments would ignore the pesticides as if it is rain.

Body@Peace is based on a guest farm, Arolela (www.arolela.co.za) in the Overberg region of South Africa, close to Botriver, Hermanus, Greyton and Caledon and 90 km from the Cape Town International airport. Child friendly, self catering, accommodation is offered, but with “full service” and “meal preparation” options. Kid’s entertainment and nanny service are also offered while mom or dad receives treatments.

Due to the demand for NAET® treatments, Body@Peace also operates once a week in Cape Town from the “Tjoklitbekkies” playgroup premises, in the Durbanville area. Mom’s can thus bring their kids along to play under supervision, while being treated.
